Lost my internet connection...

Hi everyone!

At home, I currently have no internet connection, so I can't post anything on my blog :(

A good friend is coming to our house tonight, and hopefully he can fix the problem.

I'm writing this message while I'm at work so I have to keep it short...

Hope to be back very soon!

Shopping: H&M Wanna Pepperoni & Looks Great On You

Hi!

Yesterday I've received my online order from H&M, including two of the fall collection polishes I've showed you before (here).

Looks Great On You - Wanna Pepperoni

I chose these two colors, because I don't have colors like these in my stash yet...
And they're unsusual... And I like unusual polishes :)

Looks Great On You is kind of a Terra cotta color, between orange and brown. Wanna Pepperoni is kind of a mustard color, between yellow and green. My first reaction was: Iew...!
But a couple of seconds later, I started to like the color.

Like I said... I like unusual polishes, but I don't think I can wear this color by it's own. I think it is not so flattering with my yellowtoned skincolor. But I think it is a nice base for Stamping nailart :)

This are 2 coats of polish without topcoat...

Well... I couldn't make choice out of so much pictures, so sorry for the pictureload :)

What do you think about these colors? Would you wear them?

Until next time,

(My first) Tape manicure...

Hi!

This is going to be a real quick and short post... Just to let you see how my first tape manicure worked out...

Remember my last manicure Catrice Absolutely Chinchilly? I spiced it up with some tape, craftscissors and Wet 'n Wild Black Crème...

I wore Absolutely Chinchilly for about 8 days, so there is some tipwear showing and the shine isn't that glossy anymore... I only did one hand, just to try, and then immediately took it off... So this is without topcoat.

I still have to pracice a lot, and I think I will (on older manicures :))

What do you think about this manicure? Would you wear this?

Have a nice day!

Sleek Blush Rose Gold

Hi!

Today I want to show you a blush from Sleek called Rose Gold...

I ♥ the look of the packaging...

... it has no applicator but it does have a big mirror...

Do you see the golden shimmer in it? I really like it...

Let's see some swatches:

Rose Gold is somewhere between peach and pink with a hint of golden shimmer and a coral undertone.
You can almost call it a duochrome shade... Also very nice is that it's pigmentation is really awesome!
You'll have to be very careful to not put on too much, or else you'll look like a clown, and we don't want that :)

It was kinda hard to capture the swatch on my hand, but ok... I think you'll get the idea :)

What do you think of this Sleek Blush? Do you own (other) Sleek products?

Have a nice day!

Catrice Absolutely Chinchilly

Hi everyone!

Today I want to show you Catrice's Absolutely Chinchilly...

This is also one of the polishes that has been in my stash for quite a while, and I've never worn it...

I admit, I had to get used to the color...

I kept looking at my nails... Is it brown... Is is grey?
I think it is a sort of taupe... Not too brownish, not too greyish.. but a bit in the middle.

This is 2 coats, and 2 coats of Seche Vite (my alltime favorite topcoat).

When I got used to it, I started to really like the color! I think it is suitable for almost all skintypes and you can match it with many clothing colors...

I think it is a pretty chique and sophisticated color, don't you?

I don't know if it is me, but I always thought Chinchilla's were grey... And this polish isn't really grey...

OK, the color of this baby Chinchilla is getting close...

Isn't he/she cute? ♥

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Arabic baroque with BM20

Hi!

I spiced up my latest manicure with a Baroque print from BundleMonster plate BM20...

Base: H&M U Must Have This (2 coats)
Stamping: China Glaze 2030
Plate: BM20
Topcoat: Seche Vite

Finally... The sun was shining in The Netherlands, and so I jumped from my couch and immediately took some pictures in my sunny garden...

China Glaze 2030, a perfect gold for stamping...

I don't know why exactly, but I think this manicure looks a bit Arabic... don't you?

Look:

I think gold with turquoise is a nice combination... Don't you?

Until next time!

H&M U Must Have This

Hi!

I have some polishes for over a year, and I have never worn them...

H&M's U Must Have This is one of those polishes I had to buy, because I really love the color, but I have never tried it.

Today I finally have... :)

U Must Have This is a beautiful bright turquoise blue color. It applied ok, and was almost opaque in one coat. If you're careful, one coat is enough, but I did two (as always!)

I think Smurfin would be jealous about this beautiful color :)

Don't you love this beautiful turquoise crème color?

I actually don't know why I kept this polish (since february!) in the drawer of my Helmer, because I really like it! Maybe I didn't know how to match it with my outfits, but today I combined it with a black outfit and that made my nails even more stand out!

U Must Have This

What do you think about this color? Do U Must Have This?

Have a nice evening,
